The Silver Dollar Galaxy

The Silver Dollar Galaxy, or C65, (also known as The Sculptor Galaxy), is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Sculptor at a distance of 11 Million light years. The Sculptor Galaxy is a starburst galaxy, which means it is currently undergoing a period of intense star formation.

This images was taken Oct 23, 2019, near Magdalena, NM with a Celestron 9.25” SCT Telescope, at f/10, on an iOptron CEM60 mount, with a Canon 6D Camera at ISO 3200, for 12 x 60 second exposures stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and further processed in Photoshop CS3.
